Kroger Pumps $4.4M Into Two Remodels, Local Giving

Kroger marked the completion of work at stores in Greencastle, Indiana, and Little Rock, Arkansas, with donations to local nonprofits.

Jerry LeClair had held the position on an interim basis since February, when longtime Chairman Brad Brookshire announced his retirement.

H-E-B has begun a major remodel of its Las Palmas store in San Antonio, with a new layout, expanded departments and a larger pharmacy by late 2027.

Both stores carry fresh produce sourced in partnership with local and regional farmers, along with protein offerings.

{N}power members can save up to 52 percent off hundreds of items, and all customers will have the chance to win free groceries for a year.

The new location is part of the company’s growth strategy, which is on track to open 25-30 new clubs every two years.
