Publix Signs Lease For Another Louisville Store

The grocer’s Kentucky growth continues with the store in the Highlands neighborhood of Louisville, to be known as Publix at Mid City Market.

The Greenville-South Carolina-based company is known for its hand-cut meats, chef-prepared entrées and specialty grocery items.

The North Carolina-based grocer announced plans earlier this year to convert the former Kj’s Market into a full-service Lowes Foods.

The grocer noted that the rebranded store features authentic Hispanic products in every department.

For the second consecutive year, The Fresh Market partnered with Hall throughout June to raise money to fight the disease.

Publix and March of Dimes have launched their annual in-store register campaign, running through Aug. 21 at more than 1,440 stores in eight states.

The 50,325-square-foot store will serve the community in west central Florida’s Hillsborough County.
