Sprouts Farmers Market is adding five more stores across four states in a one-week span, continuing the specialty grocer’s rapid expansion past the 500-store mark.
Two stores opened Friday, Oct. 23: in Clarksville, Tennessee, at 1002 Winn Way, and in Santa Ana, California, at 2311 S. Bristol St. Three more follow Friday, Oct. 30: in Scottsdale, Arizona, at 1490 N. Scottsdale Road; in Tucson, Arizona, at 10015 E. Old Vail Road; and in Waxahachie, Texas, at 150 Bessie Coleman Blvd. Each opening begins with a 6:45 a.m. ribbon-cutting ahead of 7 a.m. doors, and all five stores will operate daily from 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
The stores follow Sprouts’ signature format, with fresh produce at the heart of the store sourced in partnership with local and regional farmers, proteins including No Antibiotics Ever chicken and 100 percent grass-fed beef, a bulk department, more than 7,000 vitamins, supplements and wellness products, and lunch programs including $5 Sushi Wednesdays, deli sandwiches starting at $4.99 and Wellness Bowls from $8.99.
Each location pairs with area growers and a local hunger-relief partner through Sprouts’ Food Rescue program, which donates groceries no longer fit for sale but still edible and nutritious:
- Clarksville: sourcing from Southern Valley Fruit and Vegetable; donations to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee
- Santa Ana: Family Tree Farms and Five Crowns Farming; Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County
- Scottsdale and Tucson: Blue Sky Organic Farms and Duncan Family Farms; St. Mary’s Food Bank (Scottsdale) and the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona (Tucson)
- Waxahachie: Southern Valley Fruit and Vegetable and Shuman Farms; North Texas Food Bank
Grand opening weekends at all five stores include free reusable totes for the first 200 shoppers Friday and Saturday, long-stem roses for the first 400 Friday guests courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral, in-store sampling and 20 percent off one purchase for shoppers who sign up for the free Sprouts Rewards program.
Phoenix, Arizona-based Sprouts employs approximately 36,000 team members and operates more than 500 stores in 25 states. The company has said it plans to open more than 40 stores in 2026, a record pace, with roughly 10 percent annual store growth targeted in the years ahead.
