Sprouts Farmers Market opened three stores on Friday, Oct. 16, two in the Atlanta metro and one in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as the Phoenix-based specialty grocer works through a 2026 opening schedule it has called its largest to date.
The new locations are in Newnan, Georgia, at 19 Millard Farmer Industrial Blvd., Suite F; Conyers, Georgia, at 1648 Hwy. 138 SE, Suite 3; and Bedford, Texas, at 221 N. Industrial Blvd. Each held a ribbon-cutting at 6:45 a.m. before opening at 7 a.m. All three stores will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The openings fit the pattern Sprouts laid out for the year. CEO Jack Sinclair told analysts that nearly all of the company’s 2026 openings would land inside its existing footprint, and the company has said it expects 42 net new stores for the fiscal year, with 43 openings and one closure. A Hartsdale, New York, store that opened Sept. 4 was slated to be the chain’s 500th location.
“These openings represent more than new locations,” the company said in a LinkedIn post announcing the three stores. “They’re new opportunities to serve our communities, support local jobs and help more people discover fresh produce, better-for-you products and unique finds at great prices.”

Local sourcing and food rescue
Produce sits at the center of each store, and Sprouts said it sources from regional growers in each market. The two Georgia stores will carry product from Southern Valley Fruit and Vegetable and Shuman Farms, while the Bedford store will source from Fredericksburg Peach Company and Little Bear Produce.
Each store also joins the company’s Food Rescue program, which donates groceries that are no longer fit for sale but still edible. The Newnan and Conyers stores will donate to the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and the Bedford store will donate to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
Store format

The three stores follow the standard Sprouts layout. Alongside produce, the meat department carries No Antibiotics Ever chicken, grass-fed beef, seafood and vegetarian and vegan proteins. The deli offers build-your-own and grab-and-go sandwiches starting at $4.99, in-store sushi with $5 specials on Wednesdays and ready-to-eat wellness bowls starting at $8.99.
Each store stocks more than 7,000 vitamins, supplements and wellness products, with wellness staff on the floor, and a bulk department with bins of coffee, rice, nuts, dried fruit, granola, spices and sweets. The company said all bulk items are free from artificial colors and flavors.
The stores also run the Sprouts Rewards loyalty program, which is free to join and earns points on in-store and online purchases. The program launched chainwide in October 2025 and continues to scale, Sinclair told investors earlier this year.
Grand opening weekend
Grand opening activities ran through Sunday, Oct. 18. The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday received a reusable tote, and the first 400 guests on Friday received a long-stem rose from Falcon Farms Floral. Shoppers who sign up for Sprouts Rewards during the opening weekend receive 20 percent off one purchase, and each store is running a $500 gift card drawing.

Sprouts Farmers Market, headquartered in Phoenix, employs approximately 36,000 team members and operates more than 500 stores in 25 states. The company specializes in fresh, natural and organic food, with an assortment that includes organic, gluten-free, plant-based and non-GMO products.
