Food Lion is bringing back MVP Fall Haul, a loyalty promotion offering extra savings on top of everyday low prices in store, online and through the Food Lion app. Customers who use their personal MVP savings card on six qualifying shopping trips of $50 or more between Oct. 14 and Nov. 25 will earn a $20 coupon toward a future Food Lion purchase, with progress tracked at the bottom of printed receipts or via email for online and app purchases.

The grocer framed the promotion around holiday budget pressure: according to the FMI U.S. Grocery Shopper Trends 2026 report, 85 percent of shoppers rank good value as a high or top priority. The company called MVP Fall Haul one of many ways it helps customers stretch their grocery budgets while maintaining access to fresh, quality food. Fresh produce and meat are backed by the company’s 100 percent Freshness Guarantee, fresh or double the money back.

“Customers want to feel good about both the food they bring home and what they spend,” said Neil Norman, head of loyalty and CPG marketing partnerships at Food Lion. “MVP Fall Haul helps make their grocery budgets go further, whether they’re picking up fresh ingredients for dinner or preparing a favorite holiday recipe. Paired with our everyday low prices and commitment to freshness, these extra savings give our customers one more reason to count on Food Lion.”

Purchases of pharmacy, alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, lottery, postage stamps and services do not count toward the $50 requirement. Customers without an MVP card can enroll for free in stores or online, and can stack additional savings through the MVP Coupon Hub, personalized Shop & Earn rewards and digital coupons.
