Piggly Wiggly Food For Less, a group of stores in Florida, Alabama and Georgia owned and operated by McDaniel Family Investments, is upgrading its e-commerce experience through eGrowcery, developer of a white-label e-commerce platform for grocers.
The retailer is taking advantage of eGrowcery’s customized search functions, fulfillment approach, fully integrated loyalty experience and client support, with the platform expected to be fully implemented at all store locations by the end of October.
“Our shoppers want a fast and easy way to get their groceries, and that’s exactly what this upgrade delivers,” said Cody McDaniel, co-owner of Piggly Wiggly Food For Less. “With eGrowcery as our partner, we now have a single point of contact who answers our questions and provides solutions quickly, allowing us to stay focused on giving customers a seamless online shopping experience from start to finish.”
“Piggly Wiggly Food For Less understands that today’s shoppers expect convenience without compromise,” said Patrick Hughes, CEO of eGrowcery. “That’s why we’re proud to give them and all of our clients the technology and best practices to deliver a fast, frictionless online shopping experience their customers love.”
Headquartered in Sneads, Florida, Piggly Wiggly Food For Less operates 14 supermarkets in Montgomery, Alabama; central and south Georgia; and the Florida Panhandle. The retailer is known for its Cost Plus 10% pricing philosophy, proprietary Power Buy Program, full-service meat departments and fresh poultry packaging.
Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based eGrowcery, which operates in the U.S. and abroad, says most of its grocery retailer customers have transitioned onto its white-label platform from other e-commerce providers.
