Piggly Wiggly Alabama Distributing Company has joined the ReposiTrak Traceability Network.
The cooperative, which serves independent grocers across the Southeast, selected ReposiTrak to support traceability across all food categories, extending beyond products on the FDA Food Traceability List. The all‑food approach is intended to position retailers for stronger supply chain visibility, faster recall response and greater confidence.

The platform helps retailers, wholesalers, distributors and suppliers exchange and manage key data elements required under FSMA 204, supporting broader goals such as recall readiness, supplier accountability, data quality and consumer protection.
