Uber Eats and Costco have announced a national expansion of their U.S. partnership, bringing Costco delivery through the Uber Eats app to 47 states, up from 17, with nearly 600 warehouse locations now offering on-demand and scheduled delivery.

The expansion hands Uber Eats its biggest grocery catch yet in a run of marketplace signings that has added Wegmans, nearly 2,000 Ahold Delhaize USA stores, a slate of regional independents and, last week, more than 375 Wakefern locations. For Costco, it extends the digital business that has been its fastest-growing engine; digitally-enabled comparable sales rose 20.9 percent in the fiscal year the warehouse club closed Aug. 30, and the partnership first launched in 2024 before this week’s move took it nationwide.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Costco nationwide, giving Costco members more ways to shop and bringing the brand’s storied selection and value to more consumers,” said Andrew Macdonald, president and COO of Uber. “Costco is one of the largest and most trusted retailers in the country for good reason, and our nationwide partnership demonstrates the scale and opportunity Uber can bring to retailers looking to meet more of consumers’ everyday shopping needs.”

Costco’s full inventory is available for delivery, from bulk paper goods and groceries to Kirkland Signature products, including the $5 rotisserie chicken. Members shop by searching for their nearest Costco in the Uber Eats app and entering their membership number on the storefront page or at checkout, keeping member pricing intact on the marketplace, with real-time tracking as orders are shopped and delivered.

Cross-membership benefits

The expanded partnership also turns each company’s membership base into an acquisition channel for the other:

  • Eligible Costco members can receive 50 percent off an annual Uber One membership for the first year, followed by 20 percent off in subsequent years;
  • For a limited time, Uber and Uber Eats gift cards will be available at participating Costco locations and on Costco.com at $79.99 for $100 of value;
  • For a limited time, consumers can purchase a Costco membership directly through Uber Eats and receive 30 percent off their first eligible Costco order.

Uber One members also pay no Uber fees on eligible grocery and retail orders over $60 at select stores.

The U.S. expansion builds on the companies’ global partnership, with hundreds of Costco locations already available on Uber Eats in Canada, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, France and Spain.

Costco operates 939 warehouses worldwide, including 647 in the United States and Puerto Rico, per its most recent monthly sales report, and runs e-commerce sites in nine countries. The company reports fiscal 2026 earnings Sept. 24.
