Pizza sauce

Hoboken Farms has unveiled the latest addition to its lineup of sauces, a new Pizza Sauce.

The sauce is available at all Stew Leonard’s locations, on Amazon and at the brand’s website, with a rollout to stores nationally over the next few months.

The Hoboken, New Jersey-based brand, known for its farm market roots and clean-label standards, says the new sauce is certified seed oil-free, gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO, keto and kosher, with a suggested retail price of $6.99-$7.99. It features chunky tomatoes, olive oil, onion, garlic, sea salt and herbs.

“Truly great sauce is essential for exceptional pizza. We knew we wanted to make not only a better sauce, but a better sauce for you and those you love,” said Brad Finkel, founder of Hoboken Farms. “What began with the local farm market marinara I made for my own gluten-free kid is now a line of sauces we’re incredibly proud to share with families nationwide. You should never have to choose between being careful about what you eat and enjoying every bite.”

The company calls itself the first pasta sauce brand to earn Seed Oil-Free Certification across its entire line, which includes Marinara, Basil Marinara, Low Sodium Marinara, Vodka Sauce and Butter & Calabrian Chili Marinara at suggested prices of $6.99-$10.99. The brand has been recognized as a top pick by The New York Times‘ Wirecutter.

Hoboken Farms has rapidly expanded distribution in recent months and is now available at Acme, Big Y, Central Market, D’Agostino, Foodtown, Giant Food, The Giant Company, Gristedes, Haggen, Hannaford Supermarkets, Harris Teeter, Jewel, Kings, Pavilions, Rouses, Safeway, ShopRite, Stew Leonard’s, Stop & Shop, The Fresh Market, The Turnip Truck, Tony’s Finer Foods, Wegmans, Weis and Whole Foods, as well as online at Amazon and HobokenFarms.com.
