ShopRite again is rolling out its Wellness Your Way Starter Kit, a free, limited-time resource for customers beginning GLP-1 medications for weight management. Customers filling their first GLP-1 prescription at a ShopRite Pharmacy receive a complimentary kit while supplies last.
Following the kit’s initial launch earlier this year, the updated version includes an expanded nutrition guide that takes customers aisle by aisle through the store, with shopping tips, product recommendations and brand spotlights.
“As customers adjust their eating habits while beginning a GLP-1 medication, we want to make navigating the supermarket feel more manageable,” said Aaron Sapp, VP of pharmacy and wellness for Wakefern Food Corp. “Our goal is to provide practical resources and support that help customers build new routines and make informed choices that work for their individual needs.”
The kit includes the nutrition guide, developed with guidance from ShopRite’s registered dietitian and highlighting protein, fiber, hydration and nutrient-dense foods, along with samples from participating brands including Ensure, Tums, Olly, G Hughes Zero Sugar, Mentos Gum, MiraLAX, Kraft, Bowl & Basket, Thomas’, GoGo squeeZ, Pure Protein and Eat Pecans from the American Pecan Promotion Board.
The kits are available for a limited time at all ShopRite Pharmacy locations, with the nutrition guide also available at shoprite.com.
