The Winn-Dixie Company is celebrating 46 national awards recognizing its product quality and innovation, community impact, workplace culture and sustainability, bringing its 2026 total to 68 awards.
“We’re incredibly proud to see our products and community efforts recognized among some of the best in the industry,” said Brooke Rice, chief merchandising officer. “These honors reflect the care our teams put into delivering exceptional quality and meaningful value for our customers, while staying true to our purpose of feeding and enriching the communities we are proud to call home.”
Own Brand and beverage honors
The Jacksonville, Florida-based grocer’s SE Grocers Southern Pecan Coffee Collection and Know & Love 90-Second Rice were named Store Brands Editors’ Picks, with honorable mentions for Know & Love General Tso Sauce, Antioxidant Fruit Blend, Tuna Pouches and Blood Orange Cranberry Sparkling Water, along with Chek Shirley Temple Soda.
At the World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest, Know & Love Goat Cheese Crumbles took a first-place medal, with second-place category honors for Know & Love Plain Cream Cheese, SE Grocers Strawberry Cream Cheese and SE Grocers Salted Butter.
The company earned 37 medals at the USA Wine, Beer & Spirits Ratings for its private label and market-exclusive wines and spirits, including 16 golds, among them Winn-Dixie Bourbon, Gin and Scotch Whisky, Know & Love Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, Fioroso Prosecco and Prosecco Rosé, Piedra Azul Reposado Tequila and Tenure Vodka. Winn-Dixie Gin was named Best Own Label by Quality and Best Spirit by Value, while Fioroso Prosecco Rosé earned Best Own Label of the Year, Best Own Label by Value and Best Own Label Sparkling.
Community, workplace and sustainability
The grocer’s Gratitude Month initiative was recognized in the FMI Community Uplift Awards for its response during last year’s government shutdown, when the company and the Winn-Dixie Gives Foundation donated $100,000 to Feeding America to provide more than 1 million meals.
The company also was named one of Newsweek‘s America’s Greatest Workplaces by State in Florida, and earned recognition as a 2026 honoree in The Shelby Report‘s Sustainability in the Food Industry Awards for its partnership with Relocalize, which introduced an autonomous ice micro-factory producing SE Grocers Party Cubes ice locally and on demand, reducing transportation-related greenhouse gas emissions.
Shoppers also can find the grocer’s fall Own Brand lineup in stores, including an 8-inch pumpkin pie, SE Grocers Pumpkin Muffins and Apple Cider, Chek Cranberry and Raspberry Ginger Ales, and new Chocolate Chek Soda, the latest addition to its Chek collection.
