Grocery MarketMoves

T&T Supermarket, Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain, will open its San Francisco store Nov. 5 at City Center, 2675 Geary Blvd., Suite 300, with doors opening at 9 a.m.

Following T&T’s California debut in San Jose in June, the San Francisco store brings the brand’s signature mix of Asian groceries, freshly prepared foods, baked goods and Korean beauty products to the city — along with the first T&T Cafe in the United States, serving made-to-order specialty lattes and drinks inspired by Asian flavors.

Store highlights include:

  • Fresh produce — a wide selection from seasonal favorites such as Fuyu persimmons to premium Asian fruits including Korean Shine Muscat grapes.
  • T&T Kitchen — made-to-order Taiwanese rice rolls and Baby Bear Bao, plus a hot food bar, barbecue station and sushi counter.
  • T&T Bakery — more than 300 breads, desserts and pastries baked fresh in-store daily.
  • T&T private label — more than 300 T&T-branded products, including soup dumplings, green onion pancakes, Taiwanese-style sausages, sauces and pantry staples.
  • Asian beauty and gifts — a curated selection of Korean and Japanese beauty and personal care products, along with gifts from across Asia.

Founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1993, T&T operates more than 40 stores in Canada and the U.S. and is led by second-generation successor and CEO Tina Lee. The company is headquartered in Richmond, British Columbia, with offices in Toronto and Los Angeles, and has been expanding in the U.S. since opening its first American store in Bellevue, Washington, in December 2024, with a third Bay Area store planned for Millbrae and Southern California locations in the works.
