The Giant Company will celebrate the grand reopening of its Martin’s store at 240 Elizabeth Drive in Stephens City, Virginia, on Aug. 7, following several months of renovations. The store remained open throughout the remodel.
The reopening comes as the store marks its 20th anniversary. The Stephens City Martin’s has served the community since 2006, is open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and employs about 150 team members.
“Marking our 20th anniversary in Stephens City this year, it was time for improvements across the store to enable us to better serve the changing needs of our customers,” said Wade Carmichael, Stephens City Martin’s store manager. “With the remodel, we are able to better focus on value and freshness across all store departments, something the Stephens City community has come to expect from Martin’s.”
Remodel highlights
- The store’s fresh departments, including produce, bakery, meat and seafood, along with center store aisles, have been updated with improved efficiencies and an enhanced product assortment.
- The deli and prepared foods department underwent a complete overhaul and now offers more hot and prepared foods and Grab ‘n Go items.
- The beer and wine area gained expanded refrigeration and an improved aisle flow.
- The in-store pharmacy received a full redesign, including a new consultation room for administering vaccines in a more private setting.
- Martin’s signature Wall of Values has been reimagined to offer one-stop shopping for key sale items from the weekly circular.
