The Giant Co. has begun renovations at two Martin’s stores in Winchester, Virginia, and one Giant store in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania. All three will remain open during renovations, which are expected to be completed by year’s end.
The Martin’s stores in Winchester are located at 1950 S. Pleasant Valley Road and 200 Rivendell Court. The former opened in 1990, with the latter debuting in 2006. Each has about 130 employees. The Giant, located at 1201 Knapp Road, opened in 2001 and has about 150 employees.
“We hope customers will pardon our dust over the next several months as we work to bring an even better shopping experience to them,” said Marquis Black, store manager of the Pleasant Valley Road location. ”
The entire store team is excited about this remodel, which will put value and freshness front and center for our Winchester customers.”
At all three stores, the fresh offerings – produce, bakery, meat and seafood – along with center store aisles and beer and wine areas, will be updated with improved efficiencies and enhanced product assortments.
The deli and prepared foods departments will undergo overhauls to offer more Grab ‘n Go items. Pharmacy customers soon will find a new consultation room for immunizations in a more private setting.

“Once the remodel is completed, customers will find a better flow throughout the various departments, in addition to increased product offerings.”
