Flowers Foods Inc. is continuing to innovate its breakfast and snacking selection with new offerings from its Canyon Bakehouse, Dave’s Killer Bread, Simple Mills, Tastykake and Wonder brands.

The company’s new breakfast offerings span bagels, breakfast bars, English muffins, donuts, Danishes and pancake and waffle mixes. Incoming snack offerings include protein and snack bars, snack bites, crème filled cakes and crackers.

The latest introductions highlight Flowers’ focus on broadening its breakfast and snacking portfolio with products that are well-suited to a wide range of preferences, occasions and daily routines.

Personalized choices for today’s consumer

Mark Courtney, Flowers Foods chief brand officer, said the new lineup reflects the increasingly varied ways consumers approach breakfast and snacking.

“Today’s breakfast and snacking choices are far more personal and varied than ever before,” Courtney said.

“Across our portfolio, we’re responding with new products that reflect those differing needs – from organic and protein-forward options to nostalgic, indulgent favorites – including formats designed for easy, on-the-go eating, giving consumers more ways to enjoy great taste from our trusted brands throughout the day.”

Simple Mills goes regenerative

As part of the launches, the company has introduced through its Simple Mills brand its first Regenerative Organic Certified products.

Regenerative Organic Certified is a third-party certification that builds on the foundation of USDA Certified Organic with a focus on farming practices designed to strengthen the long-term resilience of the food system.

In addition, half of Simple Mills’ portfolio recently earned verification under the new Non-UPF Verified Standard, a label helping consumers identify foods made with minimally processed ingredients and methods. The remaining half of the brand’s portfolio has been submitted and is pending evaluation.

Michelle Lorge, Simple Mills president, said 2026 has marked a major year for innovation at the brand.

“This year has been one of the biggest years for innovation at Simple Mills since our brand’s inception,” Lorge said. “Inspired by our belief that food can have a profound impact on human and planetary health, we are excited to expand our selection of delicious, simple ingredient offerings to fuel consumer routines and make it easy for them to feel good about what they’re eating.”

Canyon Bakehouse targets gluten-free shoppers

Available nationwide in the frozen aisle, Canyon Bakehouse is serving gluten-free shoppers with new breakfast options that are also dairy-free, soy-free, nut-free and baked with whole grains.

Gluten-free Cinnamon Raisin and Blueberry bagels are fluffy and packed with flavor. Gluten-free original English muffins are tender and ready to be toasted in a breakfast sandwich.

Dave’s Killer Bread adds organic options

Dave’s Killer Bread is continuing to innovate to support the growing percentage of Americans resolving to eat healthier in 2026. The brand recently launched two new organic breakfast offerings.

Organic Epic Everything and Plain Awesome mini bagels have 100 calories per bagel and are perfect for breakfast or any time of day. The brand is also rising to the occasion with limited-time seasonal bagels crafted to meet consumers’ evolving tastes throughout the year: Summer Berry launching April 2026, Pumpkin Spice Madness launching this fall and Rosemary Olive Oil launching in winter.

Earlier this year, the brand introduced organic breakfast bars featuring 4 grams of fiber, and expanded its line of organic protein bars, snack bars and snack bites.

Simple Mills expands pantry and snack options

Simple Mills’ first Regenerative Organic Certified products launched this month: Original Pancake & Waffle Mix and Cinnamon Swirl Muffin & Cake Mix. Each mix is crafted with six simple ingredients like oat flour and coconut sugar.

The Oat Flour Cinnamon Swirl Muffin & Cake Mix features a cinnamon swirl center and a cinnamon sugar topping. The versatile mix allows for easy, one-bowl preparation of muffins or a snackable cake. The original pancake and waffle mix is designed for simple mornings and delivers a light texture for two quintessential breakfast classics.

Additional new easy-to-grab snack offerings launching this month from Simple Mills include Nut & Seed Trail Bars in Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and Almond Pecan varieties. The bars source nutrients from nuts, seeds and fruit.

Sweet Mmms are poppable, crunchy and sweet snacks made with a wholesome blend of organic sweet potato, organic buckwheat flour and the innovative star ingredient, organic tigernut flour. They are available in Cocoa Blast and Cinnamon Burst.

Sour Cream & Onion Pop Mmms are a light, airy cracker made with organic butternut squash and organic red beans. Parmesan Garlic Almond Flour Crackers, launching May 2026, are a blend of almond flour, sunflower seeds and flax seeds that bring a bold savory flavor to every light and crispy cracker.

Tastykake targets the Mid-Atlantic

Exclusively available in the Mid-Atlantic region, Tastykake is introducing single-serve Cinnamon Rolls, Cherry Cheese Danishes and Blueberry Cheese Danishes for breakfast or snack time.

Wonder adds bagels, english muffins and sweet treats

Wonder Bagels in Classic, Everything and Cinnamon Raisin varieties and Wonder English Muffins in Classic, Sourdough and Wheat are available in retailers across the U.S.

Wonder is also innovating within the breakfast category for consumers who prefer a morning snack over traditional breakfast, including the more than 20 percent of Americans who opt for pre-made, sweet baked goods in the morning.

Inspired by nostalgic dessert and fruit flavors, Wonder’s latest sweet innovations are easy to grab for breakfast, on-the-go or for a midday treat. New shareable donut varieties include Strawberry Bag Donuts — strawberry flavored donuts topped with powdered sugar — and Brownie Crunch Bag Donuts — chocolate donuts topped with a chocolate crunch for a brownie-inspired taste and texture.

Cherry Cheese and Blueberry Cheese Danishes are baked to perfection and filled with luscious fruit and smooth, creamy cheese. A new soft cinnamon roll made with real cinnamon satisfies breakfast cravings any time of day.
