Save A Lot‘s store at 15 W. Main St. in LeRoy, New York, celebrated its customers Sept. 12 with a tailgate tasting party. The occasion also served as a way to introduce customers to its newly refreshed interior.
From 11 a.m.-2 p.m. that Saturday, customers enjoyed hot deals on fresh produce, store-made sausage and other essentials for their football watch parties, along with tastings from local culinary partners, live music and prize giveaways including Save A Lot gift cards.
“We’re excited to celebrate our community by participating in this fun weekend of tailgating and tasting,” said Jeff Halladay, store owner. “We’ve been a proud part of the LeRoy community since 2019 and are grateful to be able to serve our neighbors with fresh, affordable, high-quality foods.”
The event leaned on the differentiators the banner’s operators emphasize, including USDA-inspected meat cut fresh in store, with the store-made sausage front and center in the tailgate deals. The LeRoy store, in Genesee County between Rochester and Buffalo, is open daily from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
