Dierbergs Markets will open its newest store Aug. 18 at the Market at 370 development, located at 3722 New Town Boulevard in St. Charles, Missouri. The store is the company’s 29th location.
A public ceremony will begin at 8:15 a.m. in front of the store, ahead of the 9 a.m. opening. The event will recognize associates, partners and community stakeholders who helped bring the project to life and will feature musical performances by students from Orchard Farm High School.
“We’re excited to bring Dierbergs to the growing, family-friendly communities of northern St. Charles city,” said Greg Dierberg, president and CEO of Dierbergs Markets, which is based in Chesterfield. “We’re proud to be their neighborhood store, offering the quality and service families have come to expect from Dierbergs.”
Store features
The 73,000-square-foot supermarket will include a full-service Mercy Pharmacy, the 25th Dierbergs location to offer the in-store pharmacy service. Additional features include Dierbergs Kitchen with Bob’s BBQ, grab-and-go prepared foods and deli selections; Dierbergs Butcher Shop and Bakehouse; Bob’s Barn for beer, wine and spirits; a health and beauty center; and a flower and gift shop.
The store also features a refrigeration system powered by carbon dioxide, a more natural alternative to traditional refrigerants. Dierbergs said it is an early adopter of the technology in the local grocery market.
The new location will employ nearly 100 associates, with openings currently available in the meat, produce and maintenance departments. Regular operating hours will be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
Development to expand
Market at 370 will have buildings attached to each side of the grocery store, along with a separate multi-tenant building in front, adding approximately 28,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and service space. Additional tenant announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
