Roslyn Grocery, a locally-owned independent market, has opened a 5,000‑square‑foot flagship location as the anchor tenant of Suncadia Social, an 11‑acre mixed‑use retail village debuting June 19‑21 in Cle Elum, Washington.

Owner Amanda Heins will offer fresh local produce, baked artisan goods, regional wines and beers and a teaching kitchen. While the store officially opened its doors in May, the grocer will be holding a grand opening weekend June 19.

The $40 million investment initiative at Suncadia, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Other tenants include Out West Trading Company (outdoor apparel), Cutters Point Coffee (Pacific Northwest craft coffee), Forage Home (home and lifestyle boutique) and two new concepts from General Harvest Restaurants – G.H. Pasta & Pizza and Eldr – opening later this summer.

“At Suncadia, we continue to invest in experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways,” said Mark Thorne, managing director. “Suncadia Social represents an exciting new chapter for the community, one that blends local character, hospitality and elevated amenities into a destination designed for both residents and visitors alike.”

Regional country music standout Antwane Tyler will perform a free public concert on June 20. The village was designed by Heliotrope Architects and built by Scout Lake Construction, with 42 bungalows and row homes built by Northwest Roots Construction.
