Schnucks Ladue

The Schnucks in Ladue, Missouri, will host a customer appreciation event May 1-3 to celebrate the completion of its store remodel.

The 59,000-square-foot store at 8867 Ladue Road has served the city of Ladue since 1962 and at the current location since 1993. It employs 156 teammates.

Customer appreciation events

The festivities begin at noon May 1 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the remodel.

From 3-6 p.m., the store will host a “Taste & Toast” experience, an adult open house featuring premium bourbon pours and wine pairings, artisanal cheese boards and gourmet bites. Live music will accompany the evening.

On May 2, the store will have a Family Fun and Sample Day from noon-4 p.m.

Starting at noon, the first 500 customers will receive a Schnucks Rewards voucher with two offers — $5 in rewards valid May 2-8, and $10 in rewards when spending $75 or more, valid May 9-22 — along with a free 12-pack of Schnucks soda or sparkling water.

The day will also include a store-wide tasting at stations throughout the location, professional balloon artists, treats and family-friendly activities for kids.

The weekend will conclude on May 3 with a final “Best of the House” tasting event from noon to 4 p.m. The session will give customers one last chance to explore Schnucks signature offerings and discover new favorite products.

As part of the celebration, Schnucks will donate $3,500 each to three local community organizations: Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, St. Louis Arc and the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.

Inside the remodel

Renovations to the store include updates to nearly every area and department.

The deli department was renovated with new hot cases to showcase Schnucks’ ready-to-eat foods. The floral department was updated to showcase a selection of roses, fresh-cut flowers, arrangements, bouquets, blooming plants, orchids, seasonal plants, gifts and balloons.

The store also received new flooring, shelving, ceiling and lighting throughout, along with an expanded and updated front end with new checkouts and self-checkouts.

New refrigerated cases were installed in dairy, frozen foods, meat and produce departments.

The Ladue store also features a new and expanded e-commerce area as Schnucks Delivers and Curbside Pickup continue to increase conveniences for customers.
