Associated Grocers of New England (AGNE) has promoted Russ Greenlaw to the role of chief operating officer, effective July 1.
In his new position, Greenlaw will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficient and productive business processes and implementing its business plan in alignment with the company’s overall strategic goals. He will work closely with President and CEO Mike Violette to maintain strong communication and uphold the company’s vision.
In addition, Greenlaw will play a vital role in shaping policies that promote the company’s culture and values and in designing operations that drive performance and unity across the organization.
Since joining AG in 2023 as VP of sales and later being promoted to SVP, then EVP, Greenlaw has embraced the AG culture. He has prioritized building internal and external relationships, laying a solid foundation that will continue to support the company’s success for years to come.
His people-first mindset – combined with a fresh, energetic perspective – has significantly strengthened inter-departmental collaboration and alignment.
