BJ’s Wholesale Club will open its Mesquite, Texas, club Nov. 6 at 4355 Childress Ave., the warehouse club’s fifth location in the state.
“We’re pleased to expand our presence by bringing savings of up to 25 percent off grocery store prices every day to even more families in Texas,” said Doug Noelle, club manager of the Mesquite BJ’s. “We’re thrilled to be part of the Mesquite community and look forward to taking care of the families who depend on us.”
The club offers fresh foods, produce, a full-service deli, fresh bakery, household essentials, home décor, pet supplies, toys and consumer electronics, along with curbside pickup, same-day delivery and shipping through BJs.com and ExpressPay scan-as-you-shop checkout in the mobile app. Members can combine BJ’s coupons with manufacturers’ coupons, and BJ’s Gas offers fuel savings. Local shoppers can join with limited-time founding-member offers starting at $20 for the first year with Easy Renewal.
In Mesquite, BJ’s is partnering with the North Texas Food Bank, regularly donating produce, meat, dairy and more; the retailer has worked with Feeding America’s network for more than 15 years, providing more than 165 million meals.
“Thanks to their growing support, we’re able to provide even more access to nutritious food for our neighbors across North Texas,” said Trisha Cunningham, president and CEO of the North Texas Food Bank.
Marlborough, Massachusetts-based BJ’s, which pioneered the warehouse club model in New England in 1984, operates 269 clubs and 211 BJ’s Gas locations in 22 states.
