turkey bone broth

Bell’s Foods has announced the launch of Bell’s Turkey Bone Broth, entering one of grocery’s fastest-growing categories with what the company calls its most significant product introduction since Bell’s Traditional Stuffing Mix in the 1970s.

The broth, crafted with the brand’s poultry seasoning recipe, delivers 11 grams of protein per serving, which the company says leads the category. Rather than relying on high sodium for flavor, the recipe draws on Bell’s blend of herbs and spices, positioning the broth for sipping as well as cooking in soups, sauces, stuffing and grains.

“Consumers today want products that combine exceptional flavor with meaningful nutrition,” said Dave West, co-owner of Bell’s Foods. “With Bell’s Turkey Bone Broth, we’re bringing together nearly 160 years of culinary heritage with the nutritional benefits consumers are looking for today. We’re excited to introduce a product that honors our history while expanding the Bell’s brand into a rapidly growing category.”

The 32-ounce carton carries a suggested retail price of $4.99 and will be available at major grocery retailers throughout the Northeast beginning in October. The company said retailers in the region have expressed strong interest, with the product expected to appeal to health-conscious shoppers, home cooks and longtime Bell’s customers.

Founded in 1867 and based in Greenwich, Connecticut, Bell’s says it is best known for the poultry seasoning that anchors holiday meals and family recipes.
