Meijer opened a new Meijer Grocery store Sept. 30 at 15700 Southeastern Parkway in Fishers, Indiana. The 75,000-square-foot store is the sixth Meijer Grocery location in the Midwest and the second in Indiana, following the Noblesville store that opened in 2024.
The smaller-format store focuses on fresh offerings and everyday essentials, with departments including produce, dry grocery, fresh-cut meat, a bakery with in-store cake decorators, a full-service deli, pharmacy, health and beauty, baby, pet and floral.
“This new Meijer Grocery location will bring convenience to customers in Fishers and added value closer to home,” said Hank Meijer, executive chairman. “We know that value is more important now than ever before, and we look forward to serving this community with fresh, affordable options.”
The store features a “Local Favorites” endcap highlighting Indiana products, including Copper Moon Coffee, Triple XXX Root Beer and Just Pop In Popcorn. Shoppers also will find Meijer private labels Frederik’s by Meijer and True Goodness.
Customers can use the retailer’s mPerks rewards program, along with Home Delivery, Pickup and Shop & Scan services. Accessibility features include height-adjustable changing tables and support for the Aira app, which connects blind and low-vision shoppers with visual interpreters.
The store is led by Director Janice Thongvanh.
To mark the opening, Meijer donated $15,000 each to the Fishers Youth Initiative and the Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County. The store’s first Simply Give food pantry partner is Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank, which will benefit from the program’s holiday campaign running through Dec. 26. The Simply Give program has generated more than $100 million for food pantries since 2008.

Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Meijer operates more than 500 locations in the Midwest U.S. with about 70,000 team members. The retailer donates 6 percent of its net profit to charitable organizations each year.
