Trig’s Markets has rolled out a unified loyalty and fuel rewards platform across its five northern Wisconsin stores, tying grocery and fuel purchases into a single earn-and-redeem program.

The deployment, in partnership with RSA America, covers stores in Rhinelander, Minocqua, Manitowish Waters, Eagle River and Tomahawk, and includes a mobile app, in-store kiosks, a digital promotions engine and integrated fuel rewards. The platform went live April 29.

For Trig’s, a division of T.A. Solberg Co., fuel is central to the value proposition. The company operates fuel stations at four of its locations, and the integration lets shoppers earn and redeem points across both grocery and gas rather than running two separate programs.

“For Trig’s, fuel rewards are more than a promotion. They’re a core part of how the company builds loyalty with shoppers,” said Ravi Achanta, CEO of RSA America. “Our platform allows Trig’s to connect fuel rewards, loyalty and digital promotions into a single experience, making it easier for customers to save and easier for the business to understand what drives engagement.”

Chicago-based RSA America serves more than 250 retailers across 1,400 storefronts in 41 states.

Kiosks and shopper data

The in-store kiosks at Trig’s give shoppers access to digital coupons and personalized offers while they shop, a workaround for customers who haven’t downloaded the app. Combined with app and fuel data, the setup gives Trig’s a fuller picture of shopper behavior for targeting promotions.

RSA said the platform also positions Trig’s for e-commerce through its Always On Grocery product, which extends the digital experience to online ordering.
