Publix has opened two new Florida stores: a new 48,387‑square‑foot site at the Shoppes at Citrus Creek at 42660 Highway 27 in Davenport and a 50,325-square-foot supermarket at 8710 W. Lake Ruby Dr. in Winter Haven.
The Davenport store opened June 25 while the Winter Haven site opened June 18. The locations feature traditional departments including a full‑service deli, produce, scratch bakery, meat, seafood and pharmacy.

“[These] new stores reflect our ongoing commitment to serve both longtime and new customers with the convenience, service and quality they expect,” said Hannah Herring, Publix’s media relations manager.
The deli offers a variety of meats and cheeses, an international selection of olives, hummus, and more than 150 artisan cheeses from the U.S. and around the world. The produce department carries organic and conventionally-grown fresh fruits and vegetables, with locally grown and exotic choices, while the floral department stocks seasonal bouquets. The scratch bakery offers cakes, cookies, pies, wedding cakes, and decadent desserts, with breads and rolls baked fresh throughout the day.
The meat department features custom cuts, including Publix private label all‑natural and organic GreenWise chicken, along with ready‑to‑cook items prepared fresh daily. The seafood department carries fresh seafood delivered throughout the week, including wild and farm‑raised fish and shellfish, with sushi chefs creating hand‑rolled selections daily. The full‑service pharmacy includes a large selection of natural and conventional vitamins, minerals, and supplements.
Publix is also preparing for another store opening July 2 at 4601 9th St. N in Naples, Florida.
