Publix Cold Spring

Publix opened its second Northern Kentucky location June 17 at 5401 Alexandria Pike in Cold Spring, drawing large crowds to the 48,387‑square‑foot supermarket. The store opened at 7 a.m., and the adjoining Publix Liquors opened at 9 a.m.

“We are thrilled to continue our growth across Northern Kentucky with a new location in Cold Spring,” said Jared Glover, media relations manager. “We look forward to delivering Publix’s legendary service and being active members in this vibrant community”.

The Cold Spring location employs 140 associates and is the first Publix in Campbell County. It is the second of five Publix stores planned for the region. The first opened at the Triple Crown Shopping Center in Walton in March 2025. Future locations are planned in Independence, Florence (Farmview Commons in Union) and Hebron (Shoppes at Hebron Pointe).
