Rosauers Supermarkets

Rosauers Supermarkets held a grand reopening celebration May 20 at 710 S. 9th Ave. in Walla Walla, Washington, a site that previously operated as Super 1 Foods.

The remodeled store has been transformed with expanded fresh departments, more local offerings and a significant investment in prepared foods and natural/organic selections.

The reopening event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce, giveaways, product samples, cake walk activities, grocery prizes and donations benefiting local organizations, including Blue Mountain Action Council Food Bank and Communities In Schools.

New store features include:

  • Hundreds of local and regional wines celebrating Walla Walla wine country;
  • In-store wine auto-chiller that cools bottles in minutes;
  • Freshly rolled sushi made daily;
  • Burrito and taco bar;
  • Full-service salad bar;
  • Expanded Huckleberry’s natural and organic department with thousands of items;
  • Scratch bakery featuring hand-crafted doughnuts made fresh daily;
  • Expanded floral and produce departments;
  • More freshly cut fruits and vegetables prepared in-store daily;
  • New smokehouse featuring smoked meats, jerky and sausage; and
  • Fresh popcorn and tortilleria stations.
