Krasdale Foods has selected Made4net, a global leader in warehouse management systems (WMS), to modernize distribution operations at the independent grocery distributor’s primary facility in the Bronx.
The new WarehouseExpert WMS will replace current warehouse and order management technology, providing greater operational visibility, improved inventory control and a scalable foundation for future automation.
Krasdale, a family‑owned distributor for 118 years, operates a 330,000‑square‑foot distribution center in the Bronx that supplies grocery, general merchandise, and health and beauty products to more than 3,000 independent retail locations across the Metro New York region. The company’s banners include C‑Town, Bravo, Aim, Market Fresh, Shop Smart Food Markets, and Stop 1 Food Mart.

WarehouseExpert provides real‑time warehouse visibility, intelligent task management, enhanced inventory rotation controls (FIFO and FEFO), radio‑frequency and voice‑directed workflows, dynamic slotting, and automated replenishment triggering. The system will integrate with Krasdale’s transportation management system, carousel automation warehouse control system, and a planned automated storage and retrieval system for small‑goods picking.
