H-E-B debuted a renovated H-E-B plus! on May 1 at 5401 Farm to Market 1626 in Kyle, Texas.
With a footprint now exceeding 182,000 square feet, the store offers more to the Hill Country community, including upgrades and an enhanced store exterior. Interior updates include new finishes, signage, lighting, equipment and fixtures.
Renovations began in August 2024. The store, which opened in 2007, now features a new True Texas barbecue restaurant with indoor seating.
An H-E-B Wellness Primary Care Clinic has also been added, offering a patient-centered, personalized healthcare experience from routine checkups and sick visits to nutrition and lifestyle guidance.
The clinic offers a wide range of services, including primary care medical visits, lab services, immunizations, physical therapy, nutrition services and other wellness offerings, all in one trusted setting.
The store also features a refreshed “Blooms by H-E-B” shop, a floral boutique with fresh-cut flowers, plants and designs for different occasions.
The H-E-B Curbside Department has been expanded to 57 curbside spaces – 41 pull-through and 16 standard.
The Meal Simple Department now features a wider assortment of fresh, convenient chef-inspired meals prepared in-store. Sushiya offerings have also been expanded.
The store also features expanded produce, bakery, deli, market and seafood departments.
Customers will find a wider variety of local produce, scratch-baked breads and pastries and chef-inspired deli selections with an assortment of cheese and charcuterie. The upgraded Meat Market carries USDA Choice and Prime cuts, and the seafood department offers an expanded selection of fresh and ready-to-cook options.
Grocery and general merchandise departments have been enlarged and relocated. Drugstore and general merchandise departments have been upgraded with a wider assortment, including new Kodi selections, expansive grilling and a new “Home by H-E-B” section, plus seasonal areas.
The expanded Beer & Wine Department includes a wider assortment of local, national and international beverages.
The refreshed Healthy Living Department includes bulk food bins with nuts, grains, dried fruit and snack mixes, vitamins and sports nutrition items, as well as expanded lineup of cold beverages.
Specialty boutiques and pharmacy
The remodeled Mia’s Mirror, a specialty boutique inside the store, features jewelry, clothes, handbags, candles, decor and baby gifts.
Texas Backyard, a supplier of live plants, pottery, soil and outdoor gardening, also has a new look.
The store features a pharmacy with five drive-thru lanes and expanded professional services and a dedicated immunization room. Other offerings include Second Saturday health screenings, medication therapy management and prescription home delivery.
Giving back
To mark the occasion, H-E-B made $10,000 donations each to Hays County Food Bank, Hays CISD Education Foundation and PAWS Shelter of Central Texas.
