DoorDash Kroger SNAP

DoorDash has added SNAP/EBT payment capabilities at nearly 2,700 Kroger Family of Companies stores on the DoorDash Marketplace. The launch spans banners including Mariano’s, Fred Meyer, Ralphs and Harris Teeter.

With the launch, millions of SNAP-eligible consumers can shop online for fresh groceries, pantry staples and everyday essentials from Kroger stores and have them delivered through DoorDash. The expansion marks a significant step forward in expanding access to affordable food.

Expanding a growing SNAP network

The addition of Kroger expands DoorDash’s growing network of retailers that accept SNAP/EBT payments online.

Today, more than 4.5 million consumers have added their SNAP card to DoorDash, and the platform includes more than 57,000 stores that accept SNAP/EBT payments as of the fourth quarter of 2025.

The expansion also increases access to online grocery delivery for SNAP recipients across urban, suburban and rural communities. Recent DoorDash research shows SNAP users on the platform are twice as likely to live in food deserts as non-SNAP users, underscoring the role on-demand grocery delivery plays in expanding access.

Bridging gaps in food access

Mike Goldblatt, DoorDash VP of enterprise partnerships, said the Kroger expansion represents a meaningful milestone for SNAP delivery.

“Access to affordable food is fundamental,” Goldblatt said. “This collaboration with Kroger marks an important step forward for SNAP access nationwide. Together, we’re helping millions of consumers shop more conveniently for the groceries their households rely on every day.”

DoorDash continues to invest in solutions that bridge gaps in food access, leveraging its logistics platform to connect consumers with local merchants while supporting greater equity in online grocery availability.

How to order

SNAP consumers can use their benefits to purchase eligible items, including produce, meat, dairy, frozen foods and other essentials, via the DoorDash Marketplace.

To order, consumers open the DoorDash app, then go to Account, Payment and Program Cards to add a SNAP card. EBT cards can also be added to an account at checkout by changing or adding to the payment method.

Customers can search for Kroger or their local Kroger banners in the DoorDash app, add SNAP-eligible items to the cart and head to checkout. At checkout, the maximum SNAP-eligible subtotal will automatically be applied to the order. Customers can adjust the SNAP amount applied by selecting “Apply SNAP Amount” and editing the amount.

Promotional offer

DoorDash is offering $0 delivery fees on the first order from the Kroger family of brands when consumers pay with an EBT card, for a limited time.

The offer is valid only on the customer’s first SNAP order at participating Kroger, Harris Teeter, Ralphs, Smith’s, Fry’s, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Mariano’s, QFC, Food 4 Less, Pick’n Save, Ruler, Pay-Less Super Market, City Market, Foods Co., Jay C, Metro Market, Dillons, Baker’s and Gerbes locations.

The offer is valid through June 15. Other fees, including service fee, taxes and gratuity, still apply. The promotion is not valid for the purchase of alcohol and is limited to one redemption per person.
