Publix opened a new store Jan. 28 in the Shops at Indian Creek, 4518 Hwy 42 S. in Locust Grove, Georgia.
The 48,387-square-foot store features traditional departments, including a full-service deli counter with a variety of meats and cheeses, an international selection of olives, antipastos, hummus and more than 200 artisan cheeses from the United States and around the world.
“We are thrilled to welcome customers to our newest Publix in Locust Grove,” said Nicole Krauss, Publix media relations manager.
“Customers, both old and new, will enjoy some of the special features of this brand-new location, and we’re excited to provide our customers with the quality, convenience and service they know and love.”
Store features
The produce department carries organic and conventionally-grown fresh fruits and vegetables, with locally-grown produce and exotic choices from around the world.
The floral department stocks bouquets that reflect the changing seasons.
The scratch bakery offers an array of cakes, cookies and pies, as well as wedding cakes and decadent desserts. Breads and rolls are baked fresh throughout the day.
The meat department features custom cuts of meats, including Publix private label all-natural and organic GreenWise chicken. Customers seeking a home-cooked meal with minimal prep time can choose from ready-to-cook items prepared fresh daily.
The seafood department carries fresh seafood delivered throughout the week, including wild and farm-raised fish and a wide variety of shellfish. Publix’s whole fish and fillets are fresh, not frozen. Sushi chefs create hand-rolled selections daily.
The full-service pharmacy includes a large variety of body care products and a wide selection of natural and conventional vitamins, minerals and supplements. The pharmacy offers a convenient drive-thru option for prescription pickup.
The store offers Publix Delivery powered by Instacart.
