Big Y Foods has appointed Bryan St. Clair as VP of information technology, responsible for leading the Springfield, Massachusetts-based grocer’s IT strategy, overseeing technology operations and advancing digital solutions supporting growth, operations and customer experience.
St. Clair brings more than 25 years of retail IT leadership, with expertise in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, distribution operations and large-scale technology transformation. He most recently served as head of IT for Claire’s, leading technology operations, applications and infrastructure while driving modernization efforts. Before that, he spent nearly a decade at Big Lots, rising to VP of information technology development, overseeing technology for supply chain, merchandising, finance, omnichannel and HR functions, and earlier held leadership roles at Limited Brands supporting distribution and direct-to-consumer operations.
“Bryan’s extensive retail technology experience, strategic mindset and proven leadership make him an outstanding addition to our executive team,” said Theresa Jasmin, SVP and CFO of Big Y Foods. “He brings a deep understanding of enterprise technology, supply chain and retail operations, along with a collaborative leadership style that will serve our teams well. As he leads Information Technology, Bryan will play an important role in strengthening the systems and digital capabilities that support our employees, customers, stores and future growth.”
St. Clair holds an MBA in management information systems from The Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Kent State University, both earned magna cum laude, and is a certified Project Management Professional. He currently lives in Columbus, Ohio, and plans to relocate to the Springfield area.
