Executive Moves

Albertsons Companies on Sept. 30 announced two leadership moves: the appointment of Cody Perdue as interim CFO, effective immediately, and the addition of Bill Boltz, Chris Drumgoole and Meg Ham to its board of directors, effective Oct. 14.

Perdue, who serves as SVP of treasury, investor relations and risk management, will continue to oversee those functions in the interim role. He succeeds Sharon McCollam, who previously announced plans to retire as president and CFO. McCollam will remain with the Boise, Idaho-based company in an advisory capacity through the end of the fiscal year on Feb. 27, 2027. The search for a permanent CFO is underway.

“Cody is a highly respected finance leader with a deep understanding of Albertsons and a strong record of helping guide our financial strategy,” said Susan Morris, CEO. “His experience across treasury, investor relations, financial reporting and risk management, together with the relationships he has built throughout the organization and with the investment community, make him well suited to lead the finance function during this transition.”

Perdue joined Albertsons in 2013 and has held his current role since 2025, following positions including group VP of treasury and investor relations. He previously worked at Deloitte and Touche LLP.

“Cody has been my right hand and a trusted partner to the entire leadership team,” McCollam said. “Throughout his career at Albertsons, he has been at the center of the company’s most significant strategic and financial transactions. He is a disciplined and thoughtful financial leader with excellent judgment, and I look forward to working with him to ensure a seamless transition.”

Board expands to 14 members

The three new directors join the board following the recent appointment of Meg Whitman as executive chair, expanding it from 11 to 14 members.
