Hy-Vee has begun offering online orders in as fast as 30 minutes at all of its stores, giving shoppers a faster option for both in-store pickup and delivery.
Customers select “Get it faster” during online checkout to use the 30-minute option. Delivery fee is $14.95; for a 30-minute pickup order, the fee is $9.95.
For Hy-Vee Perks+ members, 30-minute in-store pickup is free and delivery is $4.95.
“By offering online pickup and delivery orders in as fast as 30 minutes, we’re giving busy customers back valuable time in their day so they don’t have to worry about waiting for their groceries or other essentials,” said Dan Gubbins, VP of e-commerce at Hy-Vee.
The West Des Moines, Iowa-based grocer is separately running a promotion offering free delivery on online orders of $75 or more through Sept. 6. The discount applies automatically to qualifying orders.
Perks+ members receive free delivery on catering, floral and bakery orders of $29.99 or more as well as additional Fuel Saver rewards. The membership is $99 per year or $12.95 per month.
