Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is prepping a new store scheduled to open Aug. 14 at 130 Wheatley Plaza in Greenvale, New York.
The company also plans to hire about 250 employees for the store as part of its broader plan to hire about 1,000 people over the next 12 months as it continues to grow in the Northeast, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Openings are available in all departments, including deli, meat, seafood, bakery, prepared foods, produce, grocery, cashiering, customer service and management.
Skilled food professionals are encouraged to apply, including bakers and bread makers, cake decorators, butchers, seafood mongers, pizza makers, pasta and mozzarella makers, baristas, chocolatiers and other culinary and fresh-food specialists.
Benefits include a 401(k) with company match for eligible employees, and a 25 percent discount on purchases. Select positions, including experienced deli specialists, pay up to $25 per hour based on qualifications.
The Greenvale store will serve communities in Nassau County’s North Shore, including Brookville, Glen Cove, Greenvale, Locust Valley, Old Westbury, Oyster Bay, Roslyn and the surrounding areas.
