The Martin’s Super Markets at Heritage Square in Granger, Indiana, has completed a series of store enhancements coinciding with the 30th annual Roofsit, a community fundraising tradition for child abuse prevention.
The store, located at 7355 Heritage Square Dr., celebrated with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony and a $2,500 check presentation to Prevent Child Abuse St. Joseph County. Over the past 30 years, Roofsit has raised more than $3.8 million for local child abuse programs.
“Thirty years of Roofsit is a reminder of what this community can do when it shows up for a cause that matters,” said Bryan Stratton, Martin’s store director.
“Celebrating here, in a store we’ve just reimagined for our neighbors, feels like the right way to mark this milestone. Every change you’ll see, from the new food experiences to the layout itself, came from listening to what shoppers in Granger love about Martin’s now — and the enhancements that will keep them coming back.”
Updates to the Heritage Square store include a new Martin’s Side Door Cantina featuring a customizable burrito and bowl bar, additional grab‑and‑go selections, hot soup offerings, and a completely refreshed deli layout. The store also features a redesigned full‑service floral department with on‑site floral experts creating custom bouquets to order, a larger meat department offering choice beef, prime beef, dry‑aged cuts and an enhanced meat and seafood selection at the service counter.
An elevated produce department welcomes shoppers with more fresh fruit and vegetable pre‑cut selections, organics, and a wider assortment of locally-sourced products. A full bakery department reflow brings fresh‑baked bread alongside the store’s classic donut program. A new local program takes center stage with integrated specialty foods, expanded beer, wine and liquor and the addition of a nostalgic candy and soda section.
Other Roofsit events taking place at Martin’s throughout the week include Kids’ Day on June 24 and the Donut Drive‑Thru on June 26.
