Sprouts Farmers Market will open 10 Buddy Brew Coffee cafes inside select stores in Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida this summer, the companies announced June 10.
The cafés will launch in Sprouts stores in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Sarasota counties, introducing Buddy Brew to Pinellas and Pasco counties for the first time and more than doubling the Tampa-based coffee roaster’s total cafe footprint.
Enhancing the in-store experience with local flair
This new partnership follows similar in-store coffee programs Sprouts has established with Klatch Coffee in Southern California and Press Coffee in Arizona.
“At Sprouts, we’re always looking for thoughtful ways to enhance the in-store experience while supporting local partners that share our values,” said Nick Konat, president and COO. “Partnering with Buddy Brew Coffee brings a locally loved, quality-driven café experience into our stores.”
The cafés offer handcrafted espresso drinks, cold brew, specialty beverages and breakfast items. In addition, limited-edition selections will be available exclusively at Sprouts locations.
Founded in 2010, Buddy Brew sources specialty beans from growers around the world and roasts them in Tampa. The company’s “Brew Good. Do Good.” mission includes support for local nonprofits and direct partnerships with smallholder farmers and women-owned co-ops.

First Buddy Brew in Westchase Sprouts
The first cafe opens June 17 at the Sprouts Tampa Westchase location at 10619 Sheldon Rd. Starting at 10 a.m., the event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, $3 drinks all day and gift bags for the first 25 guests. One guest will receive free coffee for a year.

Phoenix, Arizona-based Sprouts operates more than 485 stores in 25 states and employs approximately 36,000 team members. Buddy Brew operates eight cafes in Florida along with a roastery and cold brew production facility. Its products are distributed nationally.
