Whole Foods Market will open its newest 43,000-square-foot store at 10700 NW 41st St. in Doral, Florida, at 8 a.m. on July 2.
The Doral location highlights the retailer’s commitment to local sourcing, featuring more than 550 Florida-sourced products from over 125 suppliers across the state. The selection was developed with the help of Dustin Kennedy, forager for local and emerging brands at Whole Foods Market.
Store Features, Local Suppliers
The Doral store includes a range of departments with a strong emphasis on Florida producers:
• Produce: Certified organic, conventional and Sourced for Good options, all meeting the company’s Pollinator Health Policy. Local item: sprouts from Fullei Fresh;
• Grocery: Exclusive brand favorites alongside local offerings including gelato pops from Gelatys, juices from Lakewood Organic Juice and coffee from Panther Coffee;
• Seafood: Full-service counter with sustainable wild-caught or Responsibly Farmed options. Local: littleneck clams from Cedar Key Seafarms, smoked fish dips from Key West Smoked Fish Co. and daily fresh Florida-caught finfish and lobster;
• Meat: Animal-welfare certified, with butchers cutting to order and house-made sausages. Animals raised with no antibiotics ever. Local: beef from Adams Ranch Natural Beef;
• Specialty: Cheese counter with trained mongers and custom boards. Local: hand-pulled mozzarella from Mozzarita, fruit jams from Gables Delight, veggie jams from Jammy Yummy;
• Beverages: Ready-to-drink spirits, 800-plus wines and 250-plus craft beers. Local: 3 Sons Brewing Co., Gulf Stream Brewery, and Island Grove Wine Company;
• Prepared Foods: Hot and salad bars, fresh pizza, gourmet sandwich venue and sushi rolled daily by Sushi Maki;
• Bakery: Daily fresh bread, Berry Chantilly Cake and brown butter cookies. Local: artisan bread from Zak the Baker, cakes and patisseries from Gelato Fino and Key lime pie from Keys Fisheries; and

Opening Day Events
On opening morning, samples will be available from Zak the Baker and Panther Coffee. In the afternoon, La Gringuita Gourmet Cookies will offer sweet treats. The first 300 customers in line will receive a limited-edition Doral tote bag and a Secret Saver coupon with savings up to $100 off.
Community Support
Whole Foods Market will provide a food donation to The Caring Place, which regularly picks up surplus food from local Whole Foods stores to reduce waste and serve the community. The organization previously received a refrigerated van through Whole Foods Market’s Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program. Whole Foods Market will also make monetary donations to The Caring Place and Food Rescue US – South Florida.
Quality Standards, Prime Benefits
All food at Whole Foods Market must meet the company’s quality standards, which prohibit hydrogenated fats, high-fructose corn syrup, and more than 300 commonly used ingredients. Beauty and body care products must meet standards banning more than 240 ingredients, including phthalates, parabens, and microbeads.
Prime members receive weekly deep discounts on select products and an additional 10 percent off hundreds of in-store sale items. Customers can pay using the Whole Foods Market or Amazon app. Grocery pickup will be available shortly after opening.
