WAFC 2026-27 leadership

The Western Association of Food Chains (WAFC) has announced its 2026-27 officers and board of directors, elected May 3-5 at the 2026 WAFC Convention in San Antonio, Texas.

Rebecca Calvin, EVP and CMO of Stater Bros. Markets, was elected president chairperson.

Other officers include:

  • Vice President: Wendy Coldesina, VP general merchandise manager, Costco Wholesale;
  • Treasurer: Mike Johnson, VP of operations, Fred Meyer; and
  • Secretary: Chris Lanoue, group VP enterprise merchandising, Albertsons Cos.

“I am honored to serve as the incoming president of the WAFC Board and excited to lead the charge in advancing our mission of transforming lives through learning,” Calvin shared. “Together, we have an incredible opportunity to invest in people, strengthen our communities, and create lasting impact across our industry.”

The board’s advisors include Kevin Lovell (Albertsons NorCal), Paul Gianetto (Raley’s), Greg McNiff (Stater Bros. Markets), and Mike Stigers (Wakefern Food Corp.).
