Amazon and Winn-Dixie have expanded their grocery delivery partnership, bringing same-day service to the majority of Florida households.
Seven months after an initial pilot in Jacksonville and Orlando, the service covers about 100 cities and towns across Florida and southern Georgia.
The latest expansion adds major metropolitan areas including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Tallahassee, Pensacola and West Palm Beach. Customers in participating ZIP codes can shop a selection of more than 15,000 Winn-Dixie items – including fresh produce, meat, seafood and private-label products – through the Amazon app or website.
“As a trusted regional grocer with more than a century of service in Florida, Winn-Dixie is leveraging this partnership with Amazon to reach even more customers who value convenience without sacrificing the quality and selection they expect from their neighborhood store,” said Sophie Turrell, director of U.S. grocery partnerships at Amazon.
For a limited time, the companies are offering free delivery on Winn-Dixie orders over $25 with two-hour delivery windows for both Prime members and non-members. Additionally, Winn-Dixie Rewards members can link their accounts to their Amazon profiles to earn points on eligible digital purchases that can be redeemed for savings at physical Winn-Dixie locations.
The partnership allows Winn-Dixie to utilize Amazon’s logistics network to compete more effectively with other major grocery chains expanding their delivery footprints in the Southeast. The expansion serves several new counties, including Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Manatee and Sarasota.

The Winn-Dixie Co., formerly known as Southeastern Grocers, is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, and continues to operate hundreds of stores across the Southeast following its recent brand transformation.
