The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association elected officers for 2025-26 at its annual board of directors meeting Oct. 18 and board members at the annual membership meeting during the NFRA Convention.

Bill Kynast, Chobani’s SVP of sales, will chair the board. Kynast has served on the NFRA Board of Directors since 2019 and previously held the position of chair-elect. He has been active in advancing the association’s mission and engagement with the industry and is a member of the Honorable Order of Golden Penguins.

“It’s an incredible honor to serve as chair of the NFRA board,” Kynast said. “Our industry continues to evolve quickly, and NFRA plays a unique role in uniting brands, retailers and partners to drive growth, innovation and consumer connection.

“I’m excited to work alongside this talented board and membership to champion the frozen and refrigerated categories and build on the strong foundation already in place.”

Other officers announced at the meeting were:

  • Chair-elect: Shannon Gilreath, Rich’s Consumer Brands;
  • Secretary: Derek DeMuth, Ajinomoto Foods North America;
  • Treasurer: Lindsey Hickey, Simek’s;
  • Vice Chairman, Frozen: Scott Evans, Associated Wholesale Grocers; and
  • Vice Chairman, Refrigerated: Kevin Herd, Danone North America.

Newly elected to the board of directors were:

  • Bryan Chartrand, Acosta;
  • Amanda Daily, Tyson Foods;
  • Jason Dirks, Kraft Heinz Co.;
  • Richard Dudley, Conagra Brands;
  • Sheila Ebanks, Coca-Cola North America;
  • Kevin Greer, General Mills;
  • Tim Holzman, Palermo Villa;
  • Bill Mayo, Save A Lot;
  • Amy Nordstrom, Nestlè USA;
  • Cody Reynolds, The Kroger Co.;
  • Seth Rhoades, Schwan’s Consumer Brands;
  • Marty Steinmetz, RealCOLD; and
  • Adam Sussman, Bimbo Bakeries.
