The Kroger Co. has broken ground on its fourth store in Clarksville, Tennessee, which is set to open in late 2025.
The new 123,000-square-foot Kroger Marketplace on Needmore Road, which will bring about 150 jobs to the area, will offer expanded amenities, including a Starbucks, Murray’s Cheese, The Little Clinic, fuel center and broad selection of grocery and household items, such as clothing, appliances and home goods.
The event was attended by special guests and community leaders, who joined Kroger representatives to kick off construction with a ceremonial “dirt-turning.” Kroger has served the Clarksville/Montgomery County community since 1988, with locations on Madison Street, Dover Crossing and Lowe’s Drive.
