Advantage Group International has named Unilever the No. 1 supplier in core non-food, all channels (excluding pet) in the U.S. as part of the 2026 Advantage Awards.

The awards are based on AGI’s Advantage Report research, a supplier assessment that captures feedback from retailers and recognizes suppliers delivering value through strong partnerships, category leadership and execution. Retailers highlighted Unilever’s category and consumer expertise, strategic approach to partnership, brand portfolio, innovation capabilities and marketing as key strengths.

“This recognition reflects the trust we’re building with our customers and the impact of true partnership,” said Matt Gregory, EVP and chief customer officer at Unilever. “We’re focused on helping retailers create value today while co-creating the future of retail through consumer understanding, category-making innovation and best-in-class execution.”

The company says its approach has helped drive unit volume growth at three times the market rate in the categories where it competes. Unilever also points to an “omni-shelf” strategy aimed at helping retail partners capture demand as the lines between in-store, online and AI-assisted shopping continue to blur.

Unilever’s North American brands include Dove, Hellmann’s, Vaseline, Degree, Axe, TreSemmé, Knorr, Nutrafol and Liquid I.V. The company generated sales of 50.5 billion euros in 2025, with products used by 3.7 billion people daily in more than 190 countries.
