Opening day and community giving

On opening morning, customers will receive coffee from Deeper Roots Coffee and samples from local and national suppliers throughout the store. The first 300 customers in line will receive a limited-edition tote bag made from recycled textiles from Amazon customer returns and a Secret Saver coupon with savings of up to $100.

To mark the opening, Whole Foods Market is making food and monetary donations to La Soupe, a nonprofit that makes regular surplus food pickups from local Whole Foods Market stores. La Soupe previously received a refrigerated van through the retailer’s Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program, which helps food rescue organizations transport surplus food.

Prime members receive weekly discounts on select products and an additional 10 percent off hundreds of in-store sale items, and customers can pay in store with the Whole Foods Market or Amazon app. Grocery pickup will be available shortly after opening.
