Schweid & Sons has introduced Marinated Steak Tips, a ready-to-cook line available in Cajun Style and Teriyaki Style varieties.
The steak tips are made from whole cuts of tri-tip, hand-trimmed and pre-cut into portions, then marinated and packed ready to cook straight from the package. The launch extends the family-owned Carlstadt, New Jersey-based company, best known for its burger patties and ground beef, into a new meal occasion.
The products target consumers seeking restaurant-quality beef at home without marinating, seasoning or planning ahead, Schweid says. The company positions the line for use throughout the week, from steakhouse-inspired plates and rice bowls to tacos, skewers, sandwiches, salads, stir-fries and high-protein snacking.
“Schweid & Sons has always believed that convenience should never come at the expense of quality,” said Jennifer Versacci, chief commercial officer. “Our Marinated Steak Tips reflect that commitment by combining whole cuts of premium tri-tip with chef-inspired flavors and ready-to-cook convenience. We want consumers to spend less time prepping and more time enjoying great food with the people gathered around their table.”
Schweid & Sons has four generations of experience in the meat industry, with roots dating to the late 1800s. Its products are available on grocery shelves and restaurant menus nationwide.
