Crawford Packaging has opened its first U.S. facility in Auburndale, Florida, establishing Crawford Packaging Corporation as a dedicated American operation with local employees, inventory and technical support.
The Canadian packaging solutions provider said the Central Florida location was selected in part to support its growing produce packaging business and provide enhanced service to one of North America’s most important agricultural regions. Auburndale sits in Polk County, in the heart of the state’s citrus and fresh produce corridor.
For growers and packers, the facility promises local inventory, faster access to consumables and equipment, and regional technical support including service and spare parts, shortening the supply lines that previously ran from the company’s Canadian operations.
“Our goal has always been to be where our customers are and provide the highest level of service and support,” said John Ashby, president of Crawford Packaging. “The opening of our new U.S. facility allows us to respond faster, improve accessibility, and continue delivering the proven value and expertise that Crawford Packaging is known for.”
