Weis Markets opened a new store June 26 at 30250 Commerce Drive in Millsboro, Delaware – the second location in the city and the fifth store in the state.

Store Manager Stephen Rayburn will oversee 185 new full‑ and part‑time associates. The store features an expansive market‑style produce department with organic selections, full‑service seafood and meat departments (fresh seafood less than an hour from the Delaware coast), sushi prepared in‑store daily, a deli with sliced meats and cheeses and a heat‑and‑serve meal section, a Starbucks café with mobile app ordering, a bakery with fresh‑baked breads, pastries and custom cakes, a floral department, a full‑service pharmacy and Weis 2 Go online ordering with curbside pickup and delivery.
The store is one of Weis Markets’ most innovative designs, maximizing natural light to reduce electrical lighting needs during the day, complemented by energy‑efficient LED lighting and CO2 refrigeration systems that use less harmful refrigerants. Customers will benefit from Weis’ Price Lock program on high‑demand seasonal items, its Low, Low Price program on more than 10,000 products and weekly Hot Buys.
In celebration of the grand opening, Weis Markets presented donations to the Food Bank of Delaware, Brandywine Valley SPCA, Millsboro Fire Co. and East Millsboro Elementary School, and donated the first Weis 2 Go order to the Food Bank of Delaware.
