After more than two years of renovations, H‑E‑B held a grand reopening May 22 for its H‑E‑B plus! store at 104 N. Hasler Blvd. in Bastrop, Texas.

Spanning nearly 140,000 square feet, the location features a wider selection of food options, larger departments and a new True Texas barbecue restaurant with indoor seating.

Renovations began in July 2024 and included updates to the store’s exterior, interior finishes, signage, lighting, equipment and fixtures.

H‑E‑B has had a presence in Bastrop since 1987. To mark the occasion, the retailer gave local nonprofits $30,000, with donations of $10,000 each to Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry, Family Crisis Center and Bastrop County Animal Shelter.
