Food Lion Feeds Kellanova

Food Lion Feeds, the hunger-relief platform of Food Lion, has launched its 2026 Feedys Awards, recognizing partners who help provide access to food and support families across the retailer’s 10-state operating area.

The awards will be presented from April through June as a series of surprise celebrations.

Food Lion Feeds presented the Grand Lion for Good, Vendor Award to Kellanova, now part of Mars Inc. The recognition took place April 16 at Food Lion headquarters in Salisbury, North Carolina. In honor of the award, Food Lion Feeds donated 10,000 meals to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina – Rowan Branch in Salisbury on behalf of Kellanova.

Kellanova has been a partner in Food Lion Feeds’ Summers Without Hunger campaign, committing $100,000 each year to the initiative for the past three years.

The company has expanded its local impact with a recent $10,000 gift and support of a food distribution event for more than 200 children at the West End Center for Youth in Roanoke, Virginia.
