Whole Foods Market has opened a new 37,000-square-foot store at The Crossings at Viera, 2035 Viera Blvd. in Rockledge, Florida.

The store’s product assortment includes more than 450 items from the Sunshine State, each meeting Whole Foods Market’s quality standards.
“I am delighted to welcome the Brevard County community to our first Whole Foods Market in the area,” said Tim Martin, store team leader.
“Whether you’re grabbing lunch, picking up party food and drinks or restocking your pantry, we’ve got you covered with the perfect balance of high quality and value.”
On opening morning, customers received free coffee from Latitude 23.5 Coffee & Tea and snacks from Simply Delicious Bakers, with samples from Gelatys samples in the afternoon.
The first 300 shoppers were given a limited-edition tote bag and a Secret Saver coupon, featuring offers of up to $100.
In addition, the grocer donated products to Nana’s Children’s Home through Florida Food Banks, which makes regular surplus food pickups from Whole Foods Market stores to help prevent waste.
The donation is a part of Whole Foods Market’s Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program, which aims to enhance the ability of food rescue organizations to transport surplus food to areas facing the greatest need.
Whole Foods Market also made a monetary donation to The Children’s Hunger Project and Sharing Center of Central Brevard.
